Physicians enter Physician Orders into one of the following areas:

- Physician Rounding form of Real Time Charting

- Visit Management

- Physician Orders

• Note: Physicians or clinic personnel with the necessary permissions can enter physician orders directly into the appropriate orders form (i.e. Medications, Dialysis Prescription, Labs, etc).

Entering Orders into the Physician Orders

To enter orders into the Physician Orders form:

1. Click Patient > Physician Orders.

2. Select a patient.

3. Enter order changes into the free text area.

4. Click Add.

• NOTE: Only users with physician rights can save any information entered on this form. All other users must use Patient > Notes.

Entering Orders into the Rounding Tools

Real Time Charting

1. Click Treatments > Real Time Charting.

2. Select the clinic and patient for the Pre‐Treatment tab to populate.

3. Select Physician Rounding.

4. Enter free text into the Plans/Orders field.

5. Enter username and password and click Save Changes.

Visit Management (for Peritoneal Dialysis or Home Hemodialysis patient clinic visits)

1. Click Treatments > Visit Management.

2. Select the Visit Management submenu that corresponds with the patient modality.

3. Select the clinic, patient, and today's date from the history drop‐down menu.

4. Select Physician Assessment.

5. Enter free text into the Plans/Orders field.

6. Enter username and password and click Save Changes.
